Devices / Home display

Treat the TV
as a managed device.

Home TV

A home-device type alongside campus tablets: overview, content entry points, and a clear place in the living-room story—without hosting private player configs here.

01 / Why

The living-room screen deserves a device card.

Campus MDM, Galaxy, and the desktop assistant already live under devices. The TV is the most-used display at home, so it gets its own project page: what kind of device it is, what you can review here, and what stays on the LAN.

02 / What this page covers

01

Device profile

Register the TV as home display / AV—distinct from classroom tablets.

02

Content & scenes

Describe public-facing source indexes and scene entry points families can understand.

03

Local prerequisites

Call out same-LAN and powered-on assumptions. Private player endpoints stay off this site.

04

Side-by-side access

Listed next to Campus device management in the work section.

03 / Design notes

Device page, not a player admin

This is studio storytelling and orientation—not a substitute for TV apps or third-party API URLs.

Same pattern as campus MDM

Shared case-page layout so device types feel like one family.

Extensible

Photos or checklists can land in Resources later without touching private LAN configs.

04 / Do you need setup?

Reading this page needs no account and no extra configuration. Controlling a real TV or player still uses your existing TV apps and home network—those settings are not maintained on muzi.studio.
